With CareSource Baby...
An
experienced RN will come into your home to perform an infant
assessment and answer any questions or concerns you may have. Additionally,
our nurse will provide basic baby care instruction and the
support you need to feel comfortable in your new role as a
parent. Our nurse's visit is geared
to you and your family's specific needs.
We
also offer Nurses'
Aides who are specially
trained to provide a range of services including
feeding, bathing and changing your baby, as well as homemaking. Our nighttime
aide will feed and change the newborn, so mom and
dad get the rest they need. Our aides can also help ensure
that an
older sibling doesn't feel left out, enhancing
the relationship between mom, baby and the older child. Our
aides are able to assist with up to one child at a time.
If
mom is breastfeeding, the night aide will
bring the baby to mom and then settle the baby back to bed
to allow the maximum amount of rest for mom. Our homemaker
services will also help moms with daily responsibilities
that can get overwhelming, such as doing dishes, laundry, cooking,
light housekeeping and running errands. Homemakers do
not provide hands on care.

Nurse Association of South Central CT, Inc. (VNA/SCC),
a non-profit home health care agency with more than 100 years
of experience serving the community's health care needs.

certificates available.
Payment
CareSource accepts payment directly
from clients,
family members and conservators. All
major credit cards are honored. We do
accept direct payment from insurance carriers and
will work closely with third party/private insurance companies
to maximize coverage and service.
